We need to fight back more forcefully against this bullshit about "women's privacy". Women (cis or trans) go in a stall and lock the door before taking off any clothes in a public bathroom. It is cis men who often have their penises out in common areas of public restrooms, leaving them much more vulnerable to alleged privacy violations. Trans panic is about reinforcing patriarchal gender roles. It can't be separated from misogyny.
