     @captainarcee @ClarusPlusPlus not exactly the same thing but the dread-x collections had a lot of the same feel for me as oldschool shareware compilations, just a bundle of smaller games by different devs, some of which were one chapter of a multi-chapter game you could buy a longer version of. I loved the whole vibe too of tying each one together with a "overworld" where you actually find the games to play.

     @ClarusPlusPlus There's a project called exigy by @vga256, a VisualBasic & Hypercard-like shareware game creation kit. its still in the works but I've been following ever since I heard about it earlier this year. https://exigy.org

     @captainarcee they haven't done one in a few years but they also branched out into publishing for a bunch of the devs that worked with them.
