     Boil saltpeter bearing rock in minimal lake water, add wood ash to break the bonds and release potassium nitrate. Evaporate, dry, mix with powdered sulphur and charcoal. Pour lead. Place old copper pipe from homes into crucible and lay it into the fire pit. Pump bellows. Sand cast into bullet casings using a dowel to maintain the void. Turn on an Amish treadle lathe with crushed garnet abrasive to polish. Hand load.

     A little trickier to make the primers of silver or mercury fulminate, but still possible. Carefully introduce the fulminate into the tiny crushable copper capsule and press into the shell.
