   I've just learned that converting from m/s to km/h is a trivial multiplication by 3.6.

   The retrospective obviousness is painful.

   I grew up with middle endian dates and live in a place that sells fuel in litres yet still uses 'miles per gallon'.

   Metric's consistency is breathtakingly elegant.
