     @blackRAT @hakan_geijer thats what some people in palestine have been doing. begging to strangers on the internet while bombs drop and your families dying and you havent eaten well for over a year is very draining so many of them copypaste. on bluesky theyve been getting accounts banned left and right and fucking everyone calls them bots so some of them are here now. make damn sure ur talking about actual bots, dont assume based on violated norms, talk 2 them 2 verify or leave them alone

     @blackRAT @hakan_geijer if letting a scammer get the bag unmolested means a palestinan gets a bag of flour as a byproduct then let the scammers rip through here like a tidal wave. most people in the greater fediverse probably deserve it lol. lotta fuckin corpos here with too much money. obviously do what you will to protect yourself, but also dont make things worse for palestinians in the process

     @blackRAT @hakan_geijer yeah have some discretion. i just dont want things getting worse for the people asking for help. i dont want people who otherwise wouldnt to turn their backs because people reduced to begging are perceived as schrodingers scammer. it happened on bluesky

     I had one considering that case, but it was the same text but not the same context.
     And I saw at least another one (but if I remember there was two) I don't include in it. It was not at all the same text, it seemed really legit
