   In anticipation of an upcoming trip abroad, possibly the longest I will enjoy in my lifetime, I bought an Instax Mini 12 instant film camera (aka a "Polaroid"), as well as a portable printer for Instax film.

   It's really weird to actually have physical photos at my fingertips again. Being able to handle a photo I took seconds ago felt like something out of a movie. I'm deeply hooked.

   I was 20 before I had even a basic digital camera. I can only imagine what it's like for someone young.

     @roadriverrail Many years ago someone brought one to a regional burning man event I attended. It was a huge hit.
