Why did I choose Vivaldi Social?

Because I believe in the decentralized idea of Mastodon and the Fediverse.

Although I love the enthusiasts that run Mastodon instances all by themselves, it causes uncertainties related to performance, security, and moderation policies.

So, I like what @Vivaldi is doing here, taking responsibility, building an open community.

It gives me fond memories back to the IRC days with servers like irc.homelien.no (run by Powertech) and similar.
