   When things feel tough, remember:

   Many high-ranking Nazi officials and military leaders, including Hitler, Göring, Himmler, and Goebbels, committed suicide before or after the end of the war. Others, like Rudolf Hess and Albert Speer, were tried and convicted at the Nuremberg Trials and sentenced to prison sentences or death.

   Nazi Party Members and Supporters: The Allies initiated denazification programs to remove Nazi ideology and influence from German society. Individuals involved in Nazi activities were subject to investigation and categorization based on their degree of involvement.

   Major Offenders: Faced immediate arrest, imprisonment, or even death sentences.

   Offenders: Subject to immediate arrest and imprisonment, potentially with hard labor.

   Lesser Offenders: Placed on probation with restrictions on their lives.

   Followers: Faced surveillance and fines.

     Next time you see Chief Justice Roberts, ask him who he hopes will play him in the Nuremberg movie.
