   last night a white mold seemed to grow on the glass of my terrarium but I forgot to take a photo. went to do it today and it completely disappeared overnight, as sudden as it came up?? it had this… splattery, webbed shape…

   :blobcatmaths: have I gotten a slime mold in my terrarium?? :blobcatsurprised:

     ah found a patch, they're plumped to red-brown now. what do you think, chat? are they a pet slime? fungi? mystery third thing?

     it's only been four hours since the last photo but Slimey Joe already changed again, I mean he's not moving, but he changed colour back to white-gray, but thicc. I think he's going to fruit?? :blobcatsurprised: :blobcatsurprised: probably the reason why he climbed into an exposed, bright position like the terrarium glass. big props to my terrarium for being healthy enough that I got a real slime mould out of nowhere growing in there. a springtail was walking along the subway lines of Slimey as I took these photos but she became like, a white speck in the photo, I ain't got a camera to photograph springtails sorry

     @elilla I looked them up once. It's an aquatic slime mold. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myxogastria
