Oh poor drivers /s
Apparently, enforcing action against an actual infraction is a ‘war on cars’

The most SF part of this story is the annoyed residents with cars that block sidewalks and believe they should be allowed to block sidewalks anyway, blame this zealous reporting on an ‘AI app’
@skinnylatte I was sucked into this article this morning and feel dumber for reading it
@christa same
@skinnylatte 'Yes, I know I don't own the sidewalk in front of my house... but also I feel like I kind of do own the sidewalk in front of my house.'
SF drivers already barely stop at crosswalks and lights now, pushing pedestrians into navigating the other flow of traffic just to cross a street most days. The entitlement is through the roof.
@mtechman ;/ hugs. Yeah, it’s horrible.
@skinnylatte
I'm so horrified and it's everywhere. I think about my son in L.A., who is a cane-user and doesn't plan to get a seeing-eye dog. I think about my friend V., killed by a car.
@skinnylatte I have been thinking of snitching on my neighbors in Portland about this exact issue. There is no shortage of parking on my street, but tons of people still park partially or even fully blocking the sidewalk, because it’s like five feet closer to their front door, or they don’t have to do a u turn.
