   Concerning our translation server using #LibreTranslate at https://translate.fedilab.app we are doing our best to keep it available for everyone (Fedilab but also small instances or personal projects).
   Our position requires us to be more careful with abuses (especially bots).
   That's why sometimes you can notice some downtimes, but we still work on appropriate actions with the goal that it remains a useful service for everyone and not only for Fedilab.

     Is the option available to let users use their instance for translation? I'm running DeepL on my instance so would be good to use that rather than using your compute power.

     Yep. You can use DeepL with Fedilab. Translation service can be changed in Settings -> Timelines -> Translator. Chosing DeepL will display additional options to enter an API key and chose between their Free/Pro versions

     Sorry, to clarify I meant calling back to the instance for translation.

     So fedilab gets the translation from the instance which connects to DeepL.
