   The way people first escaped the web to Facebook pages and then to Instagram accounts and are now using Discord as an entire website replacement for their product/service is a bad sign for the state of the web in general.

     As in, an easy to use host and website generator with minimum configuration requirements which isn't Wix or WordPress.
     
     (Neocities is awesome but it ain't it)

     @Polychrome honestly from what I can tell people just want to do as little setup and configuration as possible, and the people who make decent web hosting don't offer that...

     This does not make me want to throw things through the window less when I play an indie game and the link to their mods repository is a discord link that opens me to a specific channel....
