   SCABBY THE RAT joins striking AFSCME District Council 33 workers (garbage collectors, water plant operators, etc) & supporters picketing Wawa's 'Welcome America' July 4 party.

   Mayor Cherelle Parker has yet to agree to striker's demands for livable pay.

     LL Cool J dropped out of performing at the Wawa Independence Day concert on the parkway today after posting that he would not be crossing the picket line.

     "I don't ever wanna disappoint my fans, and especially in Philadelphia. Y'all mean too much to me. There's absolutely no way that I could perform across a picket line and pick up money when I know that people are out there fighting for a living wage."
