   I love my little MNT Pocket Reform

   I do think the thing that's standing between this being a useful occasional toy and something I can use every day is "working suspend" though. https://community.mnt.re/t/how-is-suspend-resume-on-the-rk3588/2608/9

   The RK3588 board seems really good otherwise. It's a very robust machine in most other ways for everyday computing.

   Seems suspend support is buried in custom kernel patches as linked here somewhere: https://fedi.imu.li/objects/9eccc960-cd54-4364-a7da-7aaab4e9c4f8

   I can't figure out *where* though. Not sure how to advance it.

     @cwebber There's one person who has (IIRC) working hibernate, gordon1 in the IRC channel. if i were to debug suspend, i'd make a custom boot disk with extlinux.conf enabling some kernel parameters like no_console_suspend, and make a custom dtb file with as many hardware features as possible turned off but that i'd still be able to boot to a console where i can try the suspend/resume. i think it should work with bare rk3588 + serial console, for example. then enable hw features one by one
