@merchantHelios Yeah that’s why I shill stuff like pauper and more recently cube so much. Pauper is cheap cards dollar wise with less text and you can enjoy jerking it with your friends just playing lower power or simpler games. Cube is you curate the entire card pool and draft it with friends. If you don’t like a card, don’t include. If you don’t like a mechanic, don’t include it. If you want a particular card to be the power ceiling, you build everything around that. Also just collecting older stuff that is pretty is nice, or cards that you in particular think are sweet. I really like the crystal cycle from the final fantasy set for example, I want them because they’re awesome imo. Anyway I think I tangented off the point. Fuck wizards
