    This looks like a fabulously silly border 😀

      @jon The question is whether the border is drawn up according to the fields, or if the fields are drawn up according to the border.

      My guess is the former, that it follows property lines from before there was a defined international border here.

      @jon Possibly. If you look at Street View at the top of the triangle, the fork in the road lets you select the left road to stay in Slovenia or the right road to go into Hungary, with just a simple border sign separating the two.

      @nafmo Or what was a farm track became - after Schengen - a regular road? Let's see - I will be there 9 July!

      @jon Looks like the left road is undecided as well. I love the signage at the next fork. It has international border crossing signs going in on *both* forks. So is the road up to that point somewhere in limbo?

      Turning around, there is a border sign up the fork saying Slovenia as well.

      @jon Oops. Fixed it.

      There's a sign saying Hungary a few hundred metres down the left road, in the oppossite direction, so it seems you have to go through a couple of hundred metres of Hungarian roads to get between the two points in Slovakia.

      Silly border, indeed. But all borders are silly, really.
