     I'm left to presume, that it's yet another distro based on Fedora, right?

     @gamingonlinux bazzite is hardly the only distro that would be affected. Valve will very likely migrate the steam client to 64 bit like they did with macOS. Most importantly, this proposal, if it goes through, would be applied two iterations of fedora from now. Plenty of time for Valve to update or Bazzite to find an alternative
