I am reading fear mongering Threads & posts on 𝕏 regarding #Iran 🇮🇷 closing the Straight of Hormuz.

👉🏾 Iran 🇮🇷 parliament reportedly backs closure of oil transit channel https://www.axios.com/2025/06/22/iran-closure-strait-of-hormuz

This is being overhyped for two reasons:

☝🏾 The Iranian Parliament lacks legal authority under Iranian law (their government setup is weird), as only their “security council” can authorize this.

✌🏾 It would hurt Iran 🇮🇷 economically & risk war with most Arabian nations. Iran 🇮🇷 is (hopefully) not foolish.
