   @realhackhistory @servisoficial Or it could be a rational response to active, outside threats by a country that has actively been interfered with and denied some measure of its sovereignty since 1979 (really since 1953.)
   We must be very careful not to echo imperialist propaganda by our assumptions, regardless of what criticisms we have of Iran.

     @servisoficial stuxnet was spread by physical means, infected removable media plugged into airgapped systems. I don’t minimise this or anything else but you cannot argue that the Iranian government doesn’t have a vested interest in preventing contradictory news or calls for protests reaching the people of Iran. Also I am confused as to that you mean by “your country”.

     @realhackhistory suena como a que minimizas los ataques que en realidad han sufrido y segiran haciendolo, desde el daño a sus centrifugadoras hasta cosas como el doxeo de sus expertos nucleares por parte de comiciones cuyo fin es el de salvaguardar la seguridad nuclear y que tu pais a estado usando para atacarlos. La "disidencia" que nombras en realidad la estas instrumentalizando, que lamentable. Stuxnet fue real y se uso para fines de savotaje.

     I hadn’t realized Iran cut itself off from the internet, with the pretext that it was to combat cyberattacks. They’ve been working on a similar internal “splinternet” as Russia has been, will allow government and the authorities to continue to function without access to the actual net.
