   fun fact, if that day ever does come, you've got about one hour to live. less, depending on where you are in the world

   i live right near london and chelmsford so i'll probably just be vapourised pretty quickly

   that's the thing about nukes. one moment, you're going about your business. and a few seconds later, the decisions are made all at once and all your delusions are shattered instantly

     @libreleah I read/saw something once that said if a person was close enough to where the bomb fell, 3 things would happen rapidly. First, the person would go blind from the light. Second, the person would go deaf from the noise of the blast. Third, the person would die from the intense radiation. If I remember correctly, this would happen within minutes, and very few of those.

     it doesn't matter if you're a living in the us, canada, europe, iran, israel, japan, anywhere in the world really.

     whether you're atheist, muslim, christian, jew, buddhist... whether you're a vegan, or you wear short pants.

     nuclear war will put an end to thousands of years of human cultural and technological development. if you're one of the survivors, your life as you knew it is over.

     no more nice things for you.

     that is why if nuclear war happens, i want to be at the centre of the fireball
