1. diagram of different sized ants (casts) in one ant species. the ants are anthropomorphized and look very crudely drawn, as if someone has used paint to draw them. the diagram has two parts, which shows a baseline and a perturbation/reprogramming scenario. on the top, there are the "major" case which is a very muscular "major" cast holding a sword and having a "mother heart" tattoo on their arm. right to them are the media cast, with are "leaf harvesting" (ants having tools and carrying leafs), the minor cast which are caretaking (ants feeding babies) and the "minim" cast, which do fungal cast (ants harvesting mushrooms). on the bottom, there is "pertupation", we see one ant head being injected with something. the big strong ant from above is now doing leaf cutting and caretaking (baby stroller).
