Matthias Pfefferle@phillycodehound @deadsuperhero that is hard to compare, on wordpress.com we can also properly scale the load! I think this is not a general issue, because I also have around 700+ subscribers and the my site is not down for a sec when publishing and I am on a shared hosting env.
