@bajax @RustyCrab Imo a lot of issues with passwords would be resolved if we normalized password managers like 20 years ago and also got rid of stupid "security practices" like password rotation
Mandatory 2fa helps with stupid passwords because if the password is easy to guess as long as the 2fa isn't compromised you're still fine-ish
People will always fall for scams because it's very easy to get manipulated by someone who is charismatic and tells you exactly what you want to hear. Even if you tell them that anything involving cryptocurrency is 100% a scam (which is honestly not far off from the truth) if someone tells them this is a totally legitimate thing and tricks them especially when they're emotionally easy to trick they're still going to fall for it. It's hard to prevent human nature but people try (and fail)
