Most of the victims were teenage boys and young men tho. They were sexually mature males in most cases. and never girls. ok some were married to women but some were living with men. the CSAM was sold in gay bookstores. One of the guys ran a male prostitution company. I get it, this doesn't mean all or even most homosexuals do this stuff but isn't there a connection

@taylan yes, this has to do with killer pedos not regular pedos.

@sun What is this about? There's way more straight pedos than gay ones so most victims tend to be female. Is this focusing on a specific string of crimes?

@taylan the book speculates that several murders were related to a criminal conspiracy to create snuff films among other crimes.

@taylan I'm not blaming gays for this I'm just saying I think yeah you do have to say they were homosexual, all of them so far in the book went after teenagers and young men. the argument about orientation relies on a clinical definition of pedophilia that they don't meet.

@sun Can't imagine killer pedos to be any more likely to be gay than the general public. Was there any data showing an over-prevalence of male victims?
Then again, who knows what extreme homophobia can lead to... I have a theory that a lot more men have pedo tendencies than we would like to think, but most of them don't do anything because they integrate into society and have an adult girlfriend/wife they're content with and so on. But if a group of men are pushed to the margins of society and give up on morals, and/or start to follow some ideology that tells them noncery is ok, then a lot more begin to act on it.

@taylan The real problem that the book mentions (and I think overcompensates for) is that reports played up the homosexuality which wasn't really relevant. it would be factual, but not relevant.

@taylan I found where some of them were abusing foster kids as young as 9, but even then they were abusing older teens too.

@taylan only one guy in the book is still alive and he's servicing a 500+ year sentence

@sun In any case, if they're still alive, I hope they all find their rightful place in a wood chipper.
