     @Ghislaine To give the devil his due: Abe Lincoln did advocate for the nationalization of banks, supported labor rights, had a rudimentary grasp of racial issues, and could recite the entire Odyssey from memory.
     
     Hell, American fascist William Pelley, Senator Burton Wheeler and even Charles Lindbergh praised him for ending slavery.
     
     While I have no great love for ol' gay-braham and could easily compose a term paper length autistic diatribe detailing why he was a contemptible figure and a fraud, I objectively acknowledge that he was a more competent statesman than anyone currently in Washington.
