I once went to the local DIY store unintended dressed in a very similar outfit to the staff. Some random guy asked me about a specific cleaning task so I took him to the correct isle, asked him some questions and recommended various products. I'm tempted to do it again on purpose

@fesshole I used to wear a black button-up shirt and smart black jeans to work every day. This happened to me a lot. I'm about as useful as any member of staff in B&Q and used to go there on my lunch breaks often to get DIY supplies. I helped a lot of people find things. I like to think some of them left nice reviews about me. 😆
I was of no use to people in Asda.

@fesshole my old firm had same colour shirts as asda, few times after work would pop in do some shopping, and get asked where things was etc.

@fesshole I have a bright orange shirt that I once wore into Home Depot. Won’t make that mistake again.
