I'm all for showing force but force does nothing if not applied in the correct way. Reading their website, i don't think the No Kings folks want to change things as much as they want to initiate fundraising activities for failed politics.
I think we need to keep our focus on stopping the deportations but i don't even see any items No Kings wants to achieve besides "growing a movement". But they refuse to define what it is beyond "not Trump".
Your protest means a lot more if it has specific actionable demands but i don't think this group actually wants change. They want to go back to setting us up for failure while we pay them for the privilege. It's cool to go. Have fun and meet people but be real about what this can accomplish and try to take the opportunity to plan for more if you can. Just don't put your name on a list of people who can expect retaliation if this "pushback" fails.
