   Milan provides a good reminder of why ESR's "Cathedral and the Bazaar" essay gets its central wrong.

   The cathedral took centuries of collaborative work to build, with many artists and intersecting visions. (Still at it, as you can see.)

   The bazaar was built by a king and is full of luxury brands.
