   @feddit-admin @rimu@piefed.social As the effect on other fediverse systems (and PieFed!) is unknown, I have altered the registration form so that only A-Z and 0-9 characters are accepted as a user name.

     So I checked the logs, and it turns out that your username, Ænima, which, by the way, I love, is causing your votes to be rejected.

     @rimu@mastodon.nzoss.nz @rimu@piefed.social Rimu, is this just a Piefed limitation, or would these special characters be impacting for other Fediverse applications?
     What is the best approach for resolving this?

     Rimu is the main developer. If he doesn't see this, I'll ping him.

     I'm sorry about this. I know it's frustrating.
