The media's compulsive use of scare quotes on things that are *transparently obviously true* just because some fuckbag right winger screamed at them 20 years ago about being "biased" is so fucking annoying.

Sending marines and National Guard to a major city because of protests, then doubling down on that, is, indeed, *authoritarian*. Literally.

None of you need the scare quotes. Stop using them. Instead, do your fucking job.
