   Cloudflare and their hostage sites are a breakaway branch of the web. If they gain enough inertia there will be a split where what people consider to be the “web” becomes cloudflare’s network.

     @wrongthink The worst are non-Cuckflared soytes that use dependencies hosted on Cuckflared soytes (think CDN, video embeds, image hosting...).
     While it was common sense back in the 90's and early 2000's to self host all the files you served (and frowned upon if you didn't), nowadays it's even encouraged to pull everything from over 9000 locations per page load.
