Luz Rivas, Norma Torres & Lou Correa: "They didn't have access to food & water on a schedule [...] don't have access to their medicines. [...]They have a right to make sure that they're treated fairly and are allowed to see their attorney. So we're here because fed law says that we as members of Congress can show up and do a facility check on all those issues."

  1. ABC’s senior political correspondent Terry Moran has been suspended by the network after Trump admin officials, incl. JD Vance, called for him to be fired after he made this post: “The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller. It’s not brains. It’s bile. Cory Booker (D-NJ): "We have a president who sat back and did nothing as people stormed our Capitol, viciously beat police, and then when those people who viciously beat police and led to some of their deaths - therefore cop killers - were convicted by juries, he pardoned them all. So for him to be talking to anybody about responsive law enforcement to protect people is hypocritical at best."
