   @grishka @morrick but you are also not discussing which one is better. “Old one is better” is a valid argument. “I’m used to old one” might be valid for you, but not for JetBrains.

   There’s also a possibility that new one is better. We should honestly compare: did it become better or not? Were the obvious flaws fixed?

   I’m all in for redesigns that genuinely improve UI. Problem is, it’s not always the case. But then, problem is not the redesign. The problem is that new UI is bad

     @morrick reminds me of that conversation I had on Twitter with a guy who works for JetBrains. He absolutely could not comprehend the idea (heh) that the existing design might be so satisfactory to someone that they simply aren't open to any change at all, but especially change for its own sake.
