I was using social media long before the term "social media" was coined, all the way back to the earliest days of Usenet and before that the earliest ARPANET mailing lists. And by any standard, the current posting blowup between Musk and Trump is impressive. Most impressive.

The fallout was inevitable but I didn't see this comingI thought Giuliani (who surely has as much dirt on Trump as Musk does) would turn on Trump after Trump let him go bankrupt and stiffed him hundreds of thousands in legal fees. But Rudy kept quiet
And so I considered it likely that Musk and Trump would tacitly agree to a similar detente. Gotta be a case of Mutually Assured Destruction, no?
In any case, I'm pleasantly surprised

@kims Of course Giuliani has to worry about funds on a continuing basis, and Musk doesn't.
That may be a prime factor.
