Been playing around some more with Niri and I've run into the problem I see everywhere, trying to get the OBS flatpak to open. Once I've sorted that out maybe it'll be my daily driver.

@zstg @magitian I've seen similar issues with Sway in the past, I just don't remember how I fixed it

@BrodieOnLinux some flatpaks don't seem to launch on Niri - possibly because of portal issues? Maybe it's because of XWayland support issues (XWayland notwithstanding)
Maybe @magitian might have an idea - I don't use Flatpaks. -

@YaLTeR I was seeing "qt.qpa.plugin: could not load the qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" even though it was found."

@BrodieOnLinux not sure what the issue is in your case, but if it opens then crashes, try giving it an Xwayland DISPLAY. There's a known problem with CEF, that the browser source requires a DISPLAY even on Wayland, and will crash OBS otherwise

@brisingr05 @YaLTeR Obviously I'm not missing a package or it wouldn't be working on KDE

@BrodieOnLinux @YaLTeR Most places I checked online mention installing `qt5-wayland` or `qt6-wayland` for that error. Not sure if this solution would work for Flatpaks though. I personally didn't have to do anything to get OBS working. I tried the Flatpak and the Nix package (both are version 31.0.3). I even made sure to reset all permissions to the defaults using Flatseal.
