   I report non-existent mobile speed cameras on google maps in places where I think the speed limit is too high, and it might be dangerous for children trying to cross the road.

     @fesshole So... wait. Explain this to me.

     You say the speed limit is too high. People driving the speed limit will still be, in your personal arbitrary judgment, going too fast.

     What exactly do you think you've accomplished by maybe slowing SOME of the drivers to a speed limit you think is too fast?

     Maybe next time, as a presumed taxpayer, try talking to your government about whether the speed limit needs to be lowered.

     @fesshole Sounds easier than actually doing the work of petitioning the local council to do their job. Who wants to carry out civic action in this day and age? I use OsmAnd, so trash Google Maps all you want.
