   @arcana I wouldn’t recommend this guy using this tactic in poker. You know poker follows the rules of life, to a degree. It’s the same nature as living, when to go in and when to fold. When to pretend you got a bigger hand.

     @arcana besides what you mentioned about it being about principle can get you not only to lose a lot of money but many times following principles will get you killed with the wrong people. Like in poker you have to know when to fold also in life. It’s not like in this case losing money he probably could afford to lose, but a matter of life and death knowing when to fold

     @arcana like that Spanish man, young man during the terrorist attacks in London. He tried to attack one of the terrorists who had a knife with his skateboard. And he died. He did it trying to save a woman. But it was a futile attempt. It just got him killed.

     @mischievoustomato @arcana with everyone following each other principles in the right circumstances can be the end of humanity. The principles of one nation is different from another. Ultimately not knowing when to fold can lead to a nuclear exchange. A example the principles of a drug dealer is to kill anyone threatening his business. And the principles of the police is maintaining order to protect the government and institutions. Some people have no principles at all. Same with nations, the principles of the Soviet union was different from US. If they had escalated and not known to fold we would all be dead. Kennedy I believe folded during the Cuban missile crisis if I am not mistaken. Many wanted him to escalate
