   The closing thank you slide in my talk yesterday had my profile photo from here and a link to my profile, and I actually had multiple people come up afterward saying they were signing up here after meaning to for some time. Guess I'll keep that as my last slide going forward.

     @briankrebs i tell people all the time on linkedin and elsewhere that everyone in my field should be on #mastodon because some of the greatest luminaries are quite accessible and i just hope i don't take advantage of that too much, because being able to ask someone like oh i don't know, (won't tag him for this) `adamshostack` a question about threat modeling that i could then relay to my team has been great. not to mention yourself krebs. i appreciate you being here _a lot_ and your generosity.
