     It disappoints me that the whole world is apparently wowed by increasing complexity and stacking higher and higher upon a shaky tech foundation to begin with, but such is industry.

     Terry was right.

     An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity, a physicist tries to make it simple, for an idiot anything the more complicated it is the more he will admire it, if you make something so clusterfucked he can't understand it he's gonna think you're a god cause you made it so complicated nobody can understand it. That's how they write journals in Academics, they try to make it so complicated people think you're a genius.

     Make a very simple processor with well-defined instruction set to control critical infrastructure? Nah, slap Windows Server Goyslop Edition with ChatGPT on it, look, I can tell it to run diagnostics for me and it works 80% of the time, that's so cool right??
