     @leo @domi yes. but given how DOCSIS works I wouldn't be surprised if the ISPs simply did not allow US devices on EU networks

     @leo @domi at least early versions of DOCSIS were not compatible between American and Europe due to different frequency allocations

     @domi wait do you mean the thing that every US store with a networking section will have 10 of? do those just not exist in germany?
