   Hmm. I was reading an essay, linked from a toot, about community nurturing and chaos.social.

   I clicked the back button toncheck what account I had come from, and...lost it. My toot stream no longer appears to include it, at least not prominently. And i can't find anything through search.

   Did anybody else read that? Can you help me find it again?

     infinite scrolling is quite an anti-pattern we've borrowed from surveillance capitalism's attention vampires :-( I'm pretty sure there's an xkcd about this
     eventually we get used to opening stuff on other tabs and live on, but I often find myself wishing for better ways to navigate the timeline that are not so vulnerable to a wrong click or a reboot

     @PeteForsyth @lxo personally I have never liked it. But I do wish there could be an option to quickly tag it off/on. I don't like it, but sometimes my two year old is like BUNNIES! and the only thing that will satuate her is a fediverse search for #bunny, and she doesn't understand the next page button, and continual scroll would be better for that particular use case
