I'm still just as fed up with this site. Seeing that the moderators do nothing about problematic people, that they ignored the warnings I gave them years ago, and now they're trying to pretend they actually care — when we all know that if they really cared, they’d ban the use of certain words and hashtags. ⬇️

@Mocaccicci I do not ban the mere use of words like pedo and pedophilia in the context of fictional art such as the vocabulary used in the dialogue between characters.
There are other problematic words that could be used on baraag with art such as the N-word or nazi phrases/symbology. These things are offensive, but at the end of the day are in the realm of fantasy.
What is banned is the actual reference or solicitation of real life child abuse content.

Speaking of those hashtags #pedo #pedophilia — it honestly makes me laugh to see how the site’s rules explicitly forbid posting certain types of content related to that, yet they still tolerate the use of its aesthetics and vocabulary in works. Let me tell you something: this site has rotted the "Shotacon" from the inside by welcoming predators in.

@Mocaccicci yes, bad actors invade our space as they do all social media platforms. The rules on freedom of expression when it comes to fictional art on baraag is easy to take advantage of, but I will not compromise on principle.
You may find it more agreeable to move to another Mastodon server with stricter rules on problematic content such as aethy.com
