   I provide Libreboot-based service on Minifree but I also do a number of custom machines for people, including ones that have other coreboot-based firmware.

   I've decided to make this official. In particular, I now directly state there that I also provide Canoeboot installations via send-in or custom order.

   My computers have a free/opensource BIOS/UEFI replacement by default, usually Libreboot; I'm Libreboot's founder and I also maintain the Canoeboot project.

     is there short video we can watch to explain what libreboot/coreboot/other are and are not - aimed at non-experts?

     I'm mildly technical and know what lilo / grub are but I always end up confused by open boot firmware - if that is even the right phrase.

     no worries if nothing like that exists

     @rzeta0 probably a few people already doeing that. i don't really bother with videos, mostly because they're annoying to do - also, information that later becomes obsolete is harder to modify when dealing with video, so i'd have to re-shoot videos every once in a while.

     whereas, editing a few markdown files is quite easy. there's really nothing a video could explain better than the libreboot website already does.

     this is firmware. so reading comprehension is very much a requirement.
