changed into brand new coil and now the vape is crackling. it wasn't doing that on the previous coil :akko_badday:

@Inginsub@clubcyberia.co i was on a 0.4ohm coil at like 42w. this new one is i think 0.15 and it suggests 75w minimum which feels much warmer so it's probably like you say with overheating. is it safe to run much lower wattage than recommended for the coil? i do prefer the cooler sensation with the minty juices

@emma it’s going to crackle for a bit, overheating means it heats up above boiling point and explodes, it will stop when enough impurities accumulate on the coil and the wick. it happens randomly with some types of wire
