      Also to surprise of no one they recommend platforms that still have an arbitrary anti-private requirement of phone numbers, which the majority of people has through SIM cards (or eSIMs which is even worse) which is one of their favorite real-time tracking methods.

      The feds don't want secure messaging as it'd make their job harder so it's no wonder why SMS isn't outlawed yet, just as it's no wonder they'd recommend proprietary IM platforms with baked-in backdoors such as Whatsapp.

      The Signal mention is there for PR points, but Signal is most definitely antirevolutionary and a potential psyop, as it sells a proprietary centralized platform for the sake of convenience, their dev team on top of being annoying clowns among free software circles also have very anti-federation opinions to surprise of no one, I wouldn't be surprised if three letter agencies are involved.
