The number of folks on the left who hate Biden more than they hate Trump is both astounding and entirely unsurprising.

@Daojoan It was the same here in the UK, when hatred for Starmer almost matches hatred for Thatcher. Partly because many "leftists" had higher demands/expectations of the Labour Party, and so their failure to reverse the neoliberal trajectory causes immense anger. Similarly, Biden's policies on, for example, Covid and Palestine, really laid the groundwork for Trump's genocidal policies. That's tough to forgive. And as some here have remarked, the Democrats keep blocking left populism and wondering why voters cannot in clear conscience vote for them -- look at all the polls that showed Harris would win if she stood up for Palestine. They'd rather lose than turn away from business as usual - partly because they will all just be fine, with very long and financially rewarding careers, the absurdity of careerist professional politicians and the oxymoron of "representative democracy."
