   Running the latest Nvidia RTX 5000 GPUs on a nearly 20 year old Intel Core 2 CPU turns out to deliver underwhelming results.

   It does work. That is, Windows runs and the graphics drivers load. Doing anything useful is left as an exercise for the reader.

     @Aether I don't see the appeal of pairing such an old processor with a new, fairly expensive GPU
     
     in related news I tried running goldeneye 64 on my SNES but it didn't work for some reason
