   PSA: Dear people watching #eurovision, that Swiss cheese with holes you see in movies, the one that Jerry would steal from under Tom's nose in every cartoon episode, is not Gruyère but Emmental. Gruyère has no holes, like, none at all. Also, you don't make fondue with Emmental (well, maybe yes, to be honest I'm not sure, but it's certainly not nearly as popular as the one with Gruyère). You're welcome.

     @akosma well, I have no interest in Eurovision so don't even know what this is in response to, but I just happen to be Swiss, and Fondue is always a mixture of cheeses. There's lots of variations of course, but both Gruyere and Emmental are quite common in that mix... 😊
