It’s the year 2025, and designers and developers at Google still don’t know how to optically centre icons properly.
These fuckers get paid several hundred thousand dollars a year, IN CASH.

Screenshot of Android’s new ‘expressive’ UI which reports to be high contrast (and it is not, and may not even pass basic WCAG guidelines in some areas) but just as annoying is the large ‘send’ icon which sits inside a light peach coloured circle. The icon is a stylised arrow head without a tail. The icon is dimensionally centred, but because the back (left side) of the arrow has much more visual weight, the button looks off-balance, and should be shifted to the right a bit.
