   It's nice to know that India's bogus toll scam texts became such a universal experience for people over the past few months that I'm now seeing headlines about telecoms and Google getting involved to shut them down. Knowing everybody in the country seemed to have shared that universal annoyance makes me feel like I share a weird connection with millions of strangers.

     They have to shut it down before people straight quit paying tolls.
